Design Workshop Pulls in ASLA Award

Design Workshop, one of our partners for many years, continues to impress, including a recent award for the new Joplin Public Library project in Joplin, MO. Devastated by a tornado in 2011, Joplin has since been rebuilding the South part of the city. The Grand Opening for their new library is June 3. We are fortunate to have been a part of such a beautiful project. Congrats to DW for receiving the Prairie Gateway ASLA award on this project!

“The principles of true art is not to portray, but to evoke” -Jerzy Kosinski

We often say that, “We believe in the power of beautiful design, clear communication and being a valuable team member for our clients.” We believe in the power of beautiful design to heal broken places and to bring hope. When a community rebuilds, it takes a village, arts, craftspeople, design and a vision for rebirth. We were lucky enough to get to play a piece in the rebuilding of a place that has seen devastation and disaster and use design to evoke hope and delight.
