The 33,876 SF, two-story Classroom Building on the St. Thomas Campus will house seminar rooms, a 100-seat lecture hall, library, 1,200 SF of clinical skills labs, an anatomy lab and 5,000 SF of administration space. The building will feature traditional native stone and cypress wood found throughout the campus. The Classroom Building will be built on the St. Thomas Campus.The University of the Virgin Islands Medical School is the first accredited, English-speaking medical school in the Caribbean. The school will train local students as physicians so they can support the ongoing medical needs of the islands’ citizens.
